Primary School Golf Trials - South Coast

The Nowra Golf Club held the 2016 trials for those juniors from primary schools on the south coast.

The players teed off at 9am on a wet and windy golf course making for some very tricky scoring conditions. The young guns all performed extremely well in the tough conditions.

The winner on the day was Jye Halls from the Mollymook Golf Club with a strong 90 off the stick. The Nett winner was Blake Halls on a countback with a nett 76.

There were 6 players selected in the team to travel to the Blue Mountains in September to compete in the NSW PSSA Schools Championship over 2 days.  The top 8 players at this event when then represent the state in the National championships.

The players that were selected were:

Morgan Thornton (Eden Gardens)

Daniel     (St Georges Basin)

Joel Brown  (Mourya)
