Tough Conditions for School Students in Newcastle
Shortland Waters Golf Club was the proud host of this year’s School Boys and Girls Championship.
In cool and breezy conditions the course was set-up perfectly for a challenging day and that is exactly how it played out.
The event was open to all juniors throughout the region and included the next generation of juniors currently attending primary school, which provided them with a great experience and benchmark of improvement for the coming years.
Scores were high across all age groups however each junior came off the course with a smile and spoke of “improving” next year.
