Loumanis, Millers and Herring Secure Nomads Scholarship

Daley Loumanis, Riley Millers and Brodie Herring have secured JNJG Scholarships with the Nomads Golf Club for 2021.
Jack Newton Junior Golf has a long standing relationship with the Nomads Golf Club, a charity organisation founded in 2003 which raises money for a host of great causes, including raising funds for the growth of Junior Golf. At the Nomads National Championships in 2014, our very own Jack Newton was announced as Patron of the Nomads Golf Club, further strengthening ties between the Nomads Golf Club and JNJG.
The Nomads Golf Club Sydney Branch has been supporting Jack Newton Junior Golf since 2006, raising and donating money to the Foundation whilst also providing scholarships for players to assist them with the expenses involved in becoming the best golfer you can be. JNJG staff assist the Nomads in the running of their annual charity day held in November, which raised almost $40,000 in 2019. Of that, $32,000 was donated to the Cancer Council and nearly $8,000 was donated to JNJG.
Some JNJG stars who have been supported by the Nomads Golf Club over the years include Jordan Zunic, Blake Windred, Tom Heaton and Hannah Park, with many of these players still friends with the Nomads they were introduced to back when they were juniors.
This year, Jack Newton Junior Golf and the Nomads will be offering three players a Scholarship to help cover some of the expenses involved in being an elite Junior Golfer. Two players will be allocated scholarships through the Nomads Sydney North Golf Club, and one player will be given their scholarship through the Nomads Sydney South Golf Club.
The three players selected by the Nomads this year are;
- Riley Millers (Avondale GC - Sydney North Nomads)
- Brodie Herring (Manly GC - Sydney North Nomads)
- Daley Loumanis (St Michaels GC - Sydney South Nomads)
