Despite a less than conventional introduction to golf, Jordie Garner is making a big impression out of the links.
Jordie, 12, of Shelly Beach became hooked on golf after playing a Tiger Woods game on his Xbox. He has since gone on to secure back-to-back NSW representative honours, and is preparing to contest the School Sport Australia 12 years and under golf championships next month.
Jordie Garner is this week's nomination for the Central Coast Express Advocate Junior Sports Star of the Year award. The News Local Junior Sports Star is open if you are between 10 and 16 years at the time of nomination.
