Bonville to Host Champions Trophy

Jack Newton Junior Golf is pleased to announce that Bonville Golf Resort have agreed to be the long-term host for the prestigious Champions Trophy. This is a five-year agreement and JNJG is very excited to be able to hold one of its major events at Australia’s leading golf resort.

The agreement will see Bonville host the Champions Trophy once a year for the next five years and includes four days of accommodation, meals and golf for some of the best junior golfers in NSW.

The JNJG Champions Trophy is a major event on the junior golfing calendar. The tournament this year will be held from December 3rd-6th and the top 60 scratch players in NSW are invited to attend. Included in these 60 players are the scratch winners from all age divisions from the 2013 JNJG Majors and Junior Masters events.

Bonville Golf Resort is acknowledged as one of the world’s most beautiful golf courses, consistently voted as the most beautiful in Australia and is the only three-time winner of Australia’s Leading Golf Resort by the World Travel Awards (2006, 2011 and 2012).

JNJG is excited about this new partnership and are looking forward to giving talented NSW junior golfers the opportunity to play at such a stunning location.

JNJG Tournaments and Events Manager, James Newman, believes this agreement is a fantastic opportunity for junior golfers. “Bonville is a world class facility that will provide our juniors with an experience they wouldn’t normally get.”

“Bonville approached us with a proposal to host one of our junior golf events and we jumped at the opportunity. Its not often that our juniors get to play on a world class golf course so we are really looking forward to taking them to Bonville,” Newman said.
