2019 JNJG Tournament Dates

(Wednesday 7th November 2018)

The 2019 JNJG Tour Calendar has been set, with tournaments once again held all over New South Wales giving junior golfers from right across the state a chance to compete at JNJG Tour Level.

The season begins early in January with the Harvey Norman A.C.T Week of Golf finding a new home at Federal GC in 2019. With the New Years Day public holiday falling right in the middle of the week next year, the Harvey Norman Sydney Week of Golf moves back a couple of days and will begin on Monday 7th January with all players set to play five different courses in five days throughout the 90 Hole Tournament.

Newcastle GC will once again host the JNJG State of Origin as we welcome the best players from Junior Golf Queensland into New South Wales, with the contest set to be as close as ever after the 2018 series finished in a 15-15 draw.

The July School Holidays will once again be a busy time, with the NSW Junior Championships returning to Belmont GC and Charlestown GC for the second straight year. In week two of the school holidays, the 12 Years and Under JNJG State Age Championships will be held for just the second time, returning to Penrith GC and Dunheved GC in Sydney's West.

The biggest event of the year will take place in the September / October School Holidays, with Cypress Lakes once again hosting the Jack Newton International Junior Classic. Almost 400 players from right around the world will head to the Hunter Valley to compete in both Junior / Sub Junior Divisions.

There are no major changes to the Junior Masters Series Events, with nine events in nine different districts across NSW hosting the two-day 36 Hole Events. The only change to the Junior Masters events is due to the Illawarra Junior Masters continuing to grow in size!! As a result, the tournament will follow the path of the Macarthur JM and be split over two courses, with all players to play 18 holes at each venue.

The final event of the year will once again be the Bonville Champions Trophy. All players aged 12 Years and Above who win the scratch division at any of the JNJG Tour Events throughout the year will qualify for the Champions Trophy, which will be hosted at Bonville Golf Resort for the seventh straight year.
