Day 4   

Ricky Kato of Bonnie Doon GC has put his name on the very prestigious trophy after finishing day 4 and the tournament on 11 under, defeating fellow golfer Mitchell Venables of Bankstown GC who finished 7 under. In the girls event Western Australian Minjee Lee claimed the title easily in the end with a convincing 8 shot victory.

The winners of the Srixon International Sub Junior Classic have been crowned. In the boys event Ryan Ruffels of Victoria GC shot 79 today to finish the tournament and take the title with 7 over and an 8 shot lead over Rhys Harold from New Zealand and Kevin Yuan of Bankstown GC. In the girls event Julienne Soo from Victoria won in a playoff with Shelly Shin of Concord GC on the first playoff hole to finish the Srixon International with 8 over.

   

Day 3

Even though we were presented with some wet weather this afternoon, Day 3 of the Srixon International was a great day with some great golf!

At Easts Leisure and Golf Club Ricky Kato of Bonnie Doon GC had 2 under 69 making his total 8 under for the tournament going into the fourth day. DJ Loypur from the Stuart Appleby Foundation had an impressive day shooting 3 under 68. Mitchell Venables of Bankstown GC and Matt Lisk from South Australia finished the day in great form with 4 under 67.

In the girls event, Minjee Lee still leads the field, having another impressive round today of 4 under 68 and a total of 9 under for the tournament so far. Su Hyun Oh from Victoria also played some great golf, shooting even par and 3 under after day 3.

At Kurri Kurri Golf Club, Ryan Ruffels of Victoria GC is still leading the field and by an impressive 9 shots after shooting even par for the day. Jack Pountney of Coffs Harbour GC is in second place for the championship finishing day 3 with 9 over. Bankstown GC's, Kevin Yuan sits on 10 over Billy Fenton of Muswellbrook GC sits on 12 over.

Queensland representatives, Samantha Foley and Anna Lim and Victorian Julienne Soo are all in contention for the girls sub junior championship. Samantha finished on 6 over and Anna and Julienne on 7 over.

Day 2

The Srixon International was presented with a sunny and warm day, filled with some great golf!

Ricky Kato of Bonnie Doon GC has had an impressive day! After shooting 2 over after 3 holes, Ricky birdied 11 of the next 15 holes to finish 8 under for the day and 6 under for the tournament so far. Dylan Perry from Long Reef GC has finished Day 2 on 5 under after a 67 yesterday and 70 today.

In the girls event, Minjee Lee from Western Australia shot 1 under and is still in the lead on 5 under par. Victorian talent, Su Hyun Oh isn't far behind finishing Day 2 with 3 under.

In the sub junior division, Ryan Ruffels of Victoria GC leads the field by 11 on 4 under. Kevin Yuan (Bankstown GC), Billy Fenton (Muswellbrook GC) and Jack Pountney (Coffs Harbour GC) have finished the day with 7 over.    

Queenslander Anna Lim leads the girls event at  Kurri on 5 over with NSW young gun Celina Yuan just behind on 6 over.

Day 1

The highlights at the Srixon International have started early at East Leisure and Golf Club with Cameron Davies from Roseville GC ending the day with an outstanding 5 under par. Dylan Perry from Long Reef GC and Brayden Petersen from Charlestown GC are not far behind shooting 4 under.

Western Australian star, Minjee Lee is leading the girls event at East Leisure and Golf Club sitting at 5 under par, with Korean Annie Choi and Victorian Su Hyun Oh finishing the day on 2 under.

At Kurri 13 year old Ryan Ruffels from Victoria shot the only sub par round of the day, 71 (1 under) to lead the field by 3 shots. Chasing Ryan are two locals boys, Billy Fenton from Muswellbrook GC and Hayden Gulliver from Maitland GC shooting 2 and 3 over par.

In the girls event, Queenslander Samantha Foley fired a 73 (1 over) to lead the field. Not far behind is fellow Queenslander Anna Lim finishing on 2 over and NSW up and comer Celina Yuan on 4 over.
