TaylorMade Joins the JNJG Family
Jack Newton Junior Golf is excited to announce that global golfing powerhouse TaylorMade has joined the JNJG family, coming on board to support Jack Newton Junior Golf at both Tournament and Player Development level.
“Jack has always been of the belief that our juniors should get the opportunity to experience and be introduced to as many different golf brands as possible throughout their junior career. It’s fantastic that a big organisation like TaylorMade, so popular in the golf marketplace right now, has joined the JNJG Family for the first time”, CEO Peter Van Wegen said.
TaylorMade will partner with JNJG as the equipment sponsor at both the Brett Ogle Junior Masters (November) and Harvey Norman Week of Golf (January), with juniors receiving TaylorMade golf balls in their registration pack and the prize table filled with TaylorMade golf equipment and apparel.
In addition to the support at Tournament level, TaylorMade has also become a sponsor of the Jack Newton Junior Golf Development Squad. The athletes will have the opportunity to explore and use TaylorMade product through the year and at the conclusion of the Squad, 2 selected athletes will be supported for the 2022 season, receiving TaylorMade hats, gloves, balls and bags.
JNJG Player Development Manager Heath Canning was excited at the opportunity this provides to his squad. “It is an amazing show of support from TaylorMade and it really highlights their eagerness to support the future stars of NSW and Australian Golf”, Canning said. “For the 2021 JNJG Development Squad to be associated with one of the most recognised brands in golf is a great honour.”
Andrew Bayliss, General Manager at TaylorMade was equally excited at the opportunity to partner with Jack Newton Junior Golf, the biggest Junior Organisation in the Country. “Young golfers are our future, and we believe as TaylorMade Golf, we should be ‘paying it forward’ and investing in the future of Australian Golf.
