Congratulations Casey
Fifteen-year-old golfer Casey Cook, from Tura Beach, has been awarded the South East Regional Academy of Sport (SERAS) Golf Program ‘Athlete of the Year’ for 2015.
The award is an initiative of the program partner Jack Newton Junior Golf (JNJG) and it includes the provision of products from Titleist and FootJoy over the next 12 months.
Casey is a local junior from Tura Beach Golf Club and she has had an outstanding year where she started out with a handicap of 6.7 and has reduced that to 1.8. She also represented the NSW Girls Team at the School Sport Australia Golf Championships held during August at Yowani Country Club where her team defeated Queensland to win the title. Casey certainly has a bright future in the game.
