Kids Enjoy Holiday Camp
Having recently joined the professional team at Bankstown, John Burroughs first objective was to get things moving with new juniors via MyGolf. He arranged for a holiday camp with many activities and the PGA hitting bay to provide fun and games for the 14 participants on the day. He had help from his Dad and the Club Pro, Lee Hunt, along with the clubs Vice Captain, Nigel Gourlay.
The weather was sunny with a cool breeze just keeping the temperature down a bit. Putting and chipping were popular and the balance exercises and ball throwing tested their co-ordination in a fun way. The Trackman got the most attention as the boys and girls tried to hit it further each time. Thanks to the PGA for allowing the Club to access to their hitting bay.
