Primary School Golf Trials in Sydney
The annual primary school golf trials were held at Georges River Golf Club on Tuesday 28th June. The original date, Monday 20th had been washed out by the enormous floods that made a lake of the course, flooding the machinery shed and drowning all the golf carts. The day was sunny, but chilly, as 28 boys and girls teed off at 9:00am to play 18 holes. Their objective was to be selected in the teams to go to Blackheath later in the year.
Everyone enjoyed the day and especially the sausage sizzle in the clubhouse.
