Each month Jack Newton Junior Golf will select a male and female player of the month. The players' of the month will be selected based on their individual performances in all JNJG tournaments and all other tournaments around Austalia and the world.
May 2011 Players of the Month
Cathleen Santoso of The Lakes Golf Club and Jake Higginbottom of the Australian Golf Club are the JNJG May Players' of the Month.
Cathleen was recently crowned the 2011 Australian Girls Champion and also had a top 5 finish in the Australian Amateur.
Jake has had a remarkable couple of months. Jake finished runner up in the Australian Junior, then lead his NSW team to victory in the Australian Junior Interstate Series. Following this Jake departing for QLD where he claimed the QLD Amateur Championship and the Keperra Bowl.
