The Tim Scheaffer Grafton Junior Classic was held at the Grafton Golf Club with 90 juniors from Murwillumbah to Sawtell taking place.
The overall winner of the day was Louis Brown af the Maclean Golf Club who shot a 1 over par 72. Playing off a four handicap Louis beat a number of rivals with lower handicaps. The best nett score of the day went to Alex Hunt of Murwillumbah who fired a nett 59.
A number of locals featured in the prize list with Ricky Boffey (Grafton GC) winning the colts nett division with a nett 68 and Andrew Smith from MacLean winning the boys 18 years nett also with a nett 68.
In the 9 hole secton Courtney Fuller won the nett award with a nett 27. She also won the Tim Scheaffer Shield for the best nett score from the Grafton juniors involved in the event.
Grafton juniors dominated the 5 hole section with Nic Lavendar winning with a gross 35 and Kayne Endean with a gross 38.
The North Coast should be congratulated on the success of the Tim Scheaffer Grafton Junior Classic.
