2014 Coast Golf Club Gala Day
The annual Coast Golf Club Gala Day took place on Monday 15th September in absolutely perfect weather conditions! Over 40 students from Chifley PS, St Therese PS Mascot, St Agnes PS, St Andrews PS Malabar and Newton PS took part in the event which gave the students the chance to test the skills they have learnt in the MyGolf program on a real course.
In their own school groups the students went out on the course and rotated around four stations testing their skills and gaining points along the way. There were stations for putting, chipping, long shots and a three hole Ambrose game on a short course. The students gained points at each station and these points were totalled at the end of the day to establish station winners, overall winners and of course the winning school. The Coast Golf Club veteran members volunteered on the day and put on a BBQ lunch as well as morning tea for the students.

Thanks must go to The Coast Golf Club, Tom and Paul Arnott from the Proshop and the member volunteers. The hospitality was excellent and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the course.
