Day 2 Update

Celina Yuan has gone back to back in the Junior Masters Series. Celina was never troubled in her division to win comfortably. Celina is a real star of the future and a name to look out for.

In the boys overall division Hamish Menz, Mitchell Venables and Jordan Lang finished the 36 holes all square. In a sudden death playoff Jordan Lang (Noruma GC) came through under pressure to claim his first ever Junior Masters Series victory.

Day 1 Update

Kevin Yuan (Bankstown GC) leads the South Coast Junior Masters boys overall division after the first round. Kevin fired a three over par 75 to be one shot ahead of local hope Hamish Menz (Catalina CC). Sitting just a further shot back is Mitchell Venables who hails from the South Coast however, represents the Bankstown GC.

In the girls overall division Celina Yuan (Bankstown Golf Club) refused to give her brother the limelight shooting a two over par 74 to lead the girls overall division comfortably.

The round of the day came from 14 year old Mitch Beohm of the Kareela Golf Club who fired an amazing nett 63.

DAY 2 DRAW

South Coast Junior Masters

The inaugural South Coast Junior Masters will take place on Saturday September 3 and Sunday September 4 at the Catalina Country Club. This is the second last stop of the Junior Masters series and all the players will be keen to post some good scores and lift themselves up the players' of the year standings. 

With a host of local South Coast talent taking place this weekend there is a good chance we will have a first time winner crowned on Sunday afternoon.
