Kids Golf Gala Days - Sutherland Shire
Three golf clubs in Sydney's Sutherland Shire are hosting Come and Try Golf Gala Days in the upcoming school holidays. These days are aimed at giving children the opportunity to try a sport they may never have played before and all clubs offer the opportunities to continue structured skill development through the MyGolf Program run by Golf Australia and the PGA next term. With the support of Jack Newton Junior Golf all three clubs will be running days where children will learn some new skills from PGA professionals, meet other children and have loads of fun.
The cost is $10 per child per day which includes all equipment and a sausage sizzle. Children do not need to have any experience in the game of golf or have any equipment to take part in any of the days.
The dates are as follows:
The Ridge Golf Course and Driving Range - Monday 4th July and Monday 11th July - 11am-1pm
Woolooware Golf Club - Tuesday 12th July - 1-3pm
Kareela Golf Club - Friday 15th July - 2-4pm
These days will be held every school holidays with Cronulla Golf Club also becoming involved in the next school holidays.
