NCAS Awards Evening
The North Coast Academy of Sport Golf Program Athletes featured strongly in the Academy Awards Evening last weekend in Coffs Harbour
The Program, sponsored by Jack Newton Junior Golf (JNJG) and based out of the Bonville Golf Resort, has the specific objective of identifying talented junior golfers and providing them with a level of coaching and ancillary athlete education that will assist them in taking the next step in the sport of golf. The program is designed to expose golfers to skills assessment and development designed by JNJG, new challenges and opportunities, and to complement any lessons / training that they are receiving or have received.

Encouragement Award: Courtney Fuller
Most Improved: Reilly Wunderlich
Development Program
Most outstanding: Conor Whitelock
Encouragement Award: Jayme Walters
Most Improved: Nicholas Sneesby
In a highlight for the Golf Program - Harvey Remfrey was voted the 2015 NCAS Athlete of the Year
Harvey won this award up against some outstanding athletes from other sports and he spoke well of the program and thanked his coaches, Jack Newton Junior Golf and the Bonville Club for their support. During his interview following acceptance of his award, Harvey ranked the Bonville Golf Resort as his favourite course.
