Day 2 Update

Day two teed off under clear but cool skies. A very exciting finish in the girls event this year. Cathleen Santoso has come from behind to defeat a host of players tied in second place. In the boys event Shaun Cameron has claimed his first ever Masters event. Shaun played extremely well in the windy conditions to claim the title.

Day 1 Update

Andy Chu (Bonnie Doon GC) fired a 1 under par 70 to take the lead after the first round of the Peter O'Malley Junior Masters. Hot on Andy's heels  is Shaun Cameron opf the St Michael's GC. Shaun shot an even par 71 to be one stroke off the lead.

In the girls event local girl Chantal Hodson shot a 2 over par 74. Chantal will be looking to go back to back after winning this title last year.

Peter O'Malley Junior Masters

The second Junior Masters series event for the year tees off this weekend at the Bathurst Golf Club. Always a favourite amongst the players, a field of just under 190 players will take to the course.

In the girls event Chantal Hodson will be looking to win her home town title for the second consecutive year. She will have some tough competition including Cathleen Santoso who last year shot a course record 65 in the first round and has been in some impressive form of late including a 5th place finish in the Australian Amateur.

In the boys event Andrew Best will once again be looking to claim this title for the second year in a row. He will have some tough competition from Ryan Bown, Ruben Sondjaja and Adrius Belkus just to name a few.
