Ali Rachid and Ann Jang Claim Brett Ogle Junior Masters

(5:00pm - Sunday 22nd November, 2020)

With so many players so close to the lead heading into the final round, it was always going to be a nail-biting finish, and the opening JNJG Tour Event for the 2021 season proved just that.

In the end it was Ali Rachid (NSW GC) and Ann Jang (Toukley GC) who held their nerve down the stretch to claim the 2020 Brett Ogle Junior Masters.

Rachid fired a final round two under par 69 to defeat the fast finishing Jye Halls (NSW GC) by one shot, with Chun-Ta Wu (Long Reef) moving into third spot with a final round 68. Jang came from behind to defeat overnight leader Claire Shin (Twin Creeks) by two shots, finishing the tournament at level par after a two under par 70 on Sunday.

Tight at the Top at Goulburn

(8:00pm - Saturday 21st November, 2020)

It's an incredibly tight leaderboard, in both Boys and Girls Divisions, after the opening round of the Brett Ogle Junior Masters at Goulburn GC. Only two shots separates the top 10 Boys with three players sharing the lead at one under par. Cian Hughes (Long Reef) and Oliver Davis (The Australian) are two of those, looking for their first JNJG Masters title and they share the lead with 2018 Brett Ogle Junior Masters Champion Ali Rachid (NSW).

The Girls Division is also close, with the top five players separated by just two shots heading into the final round. Claire Shin (Twin Creeks) fired an even par round of 72 to take the lead, one shot clear of Nara Shin (Lynwood).

Adam Ding (Bexley) produced the most remarkable round of the day, with the 11 Year Old signing for a two under par 69, the low round of anyone in the field.

Becky Montgomery (Nelson Bay) also stood out in the Girls Division, breaking 100 for the first ever time, on her way to a Nett 55!!!

JNJG Season Begins at Goulburn with Brett Ogle JM

(8:00am - Friday 20th November, 2020)

After a much interrupted 2020 season that is now very much in the rear-view mirror, the 2021 JNJG Tour Season begins this weekend with the running of the Brett Ogle Junior Masters at Goulburn. A capacity field of 148 players, which at one stage saw as many as 39 players on the wait list, kicks off a busy end to the 2020 calendar year, and busy start to the 2021 JNJG Tour Season.

With the rescheduled North Coast Junior Masters (Kew), NSW Junior Championships (Mt Broughton) and JNJG Under 12 State Age Championships (Moss Vale) to be played over the next month, juniors and parents in the JNJG family will finally get that tournament feeling back.

Players will travel to Goulburn this weekend from right across the state, with many A.C.T Monaro locals also teeing it up in their home-district event.

Play begins off the first tee on Saturday morning at 9:16am, with a 7:00am start on Sunday morning in Round 2.
