JNJG Add Two More Events to Tour Calendar for 2020

Jack Newton Junior Golf have today added two more events to the JNJG Tour Calendar for the remainder of the 2020 season.
After the Covid-19 Outbreak back in March caused a four month hiatus of JNJG Tour Events, the 2020 Calendar gets back underway this week with the Greg Chalmers Junior Masters at Shelly Beach Golf Club. Just four weeks later, the JNJG roadshow heads to Batemans Bay (Covid-19 pending) where the South Coast Junior Masters takes place at Catalina Country Club.
Such is the popularity of JNJG Events, even more so after a four month break, these two events were declared full in just 47 minutes and 11 minutes respectively. As a result, JNJG has been working hard to replace some of the events that were cancelled through that March - July period and can officially announce two new additions today!
For the first time ever, a JNJG Junior Masters Event will take place in the Blue Mountains, with Wentworth Falls Country Club and the Blue Mountains DGA getting together to support JNJG with the running of the Blue Mountains Junior Masters. The 36 Hole Tournament will be played on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th September. Entries for the innaugural event will open on Thursday 6th August with a capacity field of 180 players expected.
The second event added to the calendar in the back half of the year will be the rescheduled North Coast Junior Masters at Kew Country Club. Held annually in May, the North Coast Junior Masters was one of five Junior Masters Events cancelled in the first half of the year, but everyone at Kew Country Club has been fantastic in making another weekend available to our juniors.
The North Coast Junior Masters will now take place on Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th December, with the event carrying extra importance in 2020. Ater the Bonville Champions Trophy was cancelled for this year due to the Coronavirus, the Champions Trophy will now take place in conjunction with the North Coast Junior Masters at Kew. All those players who would have qualified for the 2020 Bonville Champions Trophy will receive priority entry into the North Coast Junior Masters.

- Held in conjunction with the Jack Newton International this year will be the JNJG State Age Championships (originally postponed in July). The best placed NSW / A.C.T player in the 15/16/17 Year Age Division will be announced as the JNJG State Age Champion for 2020.

- Entries Open Friday 31st July
- Held in conjunction with the Jack Newton International this year will be the JNJG State Age Championships (originally postponed in July). The best placed NSW / A.C.T player in the 14/13/12/11/10 Years & Under Age Division will be announced as the JNJG State Age Champion for 2020.
Fayde Junior Matchplay
- The Fayde Junior Matchplay has been cancelled for 2020
- The Tournament will return bigger and better in 2021
Brett Ogle Junior Masters

- 128 Juniors
- Entries Open Tuesday 22nd September
Bonville Champions Trophy
- The Bonville Champions Trophy has been cancelled for 2020
- Instead, JNJG will hold the Champions Trophy in conjunction with the North Coast Junior Masters at Kew Country Club, rescheduled for December
- The Tournament will return to Bonville, bigger and better in 2021
NSW Junior Championships
- Mt Broughton Golf & Country Club
- Monday 14th to Wednesday 16th December
- 90 Juniors (Handicap Restrictions do apply)
- No Age Division Contests - All players competing for the NSW Junior Championship
- 72 Hole Event, played over 3 days
- 18 Holes (Monday), 36 Holes (Tuesday) - 54 Hole Cut - 18 Holes (Wednesday)
