Fernlack Tamar Valley Junior Cup - Tasmania
The 2017 Fernlack Tamar Valley Junior Cup was held at the start of this week by Golf Tasmania. The four round tournament was hosted by the Greens Beach Golf Club, located on the coast north of Launceston.
JNJG sent a team of four players to the event; Harrison Crowe (St Michaels), Luka Brucic (Federal), Casey Cook (Tura Beach), and June Song (Avondale).
Harrison fired rounds of 76, 81, 77 and 69 to finish in a tie for second, two shots behind Queensland's Mitch Varley. In the Girls Championship Casey Cook also finished tied for second after rounds of 78, 74, 73 and 76. Casey missed out on the title by one shot from Tasmania's Zahara Lemon.
JNJG juniors Luka Brucic and June Song finished 17th and Tied 6th respectively.
