Kids Enjoy Day at Cromer Golf Club

The 8th annual Go Go Golf Gala Day at Cromer was a great success with six local primary schools participating. Chipping, putting and two holes of ambrose golf tested their ability on this beautiful golf course. It was conducted after school hours, from 3pm until 5:30pm followed by a BBQ sausage sizzle and soft drinks for the students and parents. Several volunteer mentors from the Cromer GC Junior Cadet program led the teams around the various activities, scoring their shots and giving valuable tips. The winning team was The Pittwater House closely followed by St Rose Catholic Primary. The individual event saw the five players listed below vying for the Cromer Cadet Scholarship, which will be decided after a round of interviews with the players and their parents. All in all it was another good day for primary school students at the golf club.
