Concord Golf Club's Doey Choi, at just 13 years of age, has be crowned the 2014 NSW Women's Amateur Champion after defeating Queensland's Ali Orchard.  Doey won the 36 hole match on her home course, 5/4.  Doey had wins over Elizabeth Elmassian 2/1, Anna Stanton (ranked Number 1 in the event) 2up and Jaminee Dougan 3/1 on her way to the final.  Doey has had a fantastic start to 2014 after winning the Harvey Norman Sub Junior Week of Golf by 16 shots, being a part of the winning NSW JNJG Team in the State of Origin series (winning all of her matches) and now winning this major state championship against experienced and talented women from across the country.

Doey's achievements are a credit to the hard work she is putting in and all of the staff and members of JNJG would like to congratulate her on this amazing achievement.  We know she has a bright future in the game and we look forward to watching her progress.

Well done also to all of our past and present members who also took part in the event.
