The Australian Girls Amateur

The Australian Girls Amateur returns to NSW for the first time in 8 years. The last event in NSW was played at the Long Reef GC in 2003. This year also boasted the last NSW winner, Sarah Kemp.

The Australian Girls Amateur will be played at the Newcastle Golf Club with the first round teeing off on Wednesday April 13. The girls championship consists of 54 holes with the final round played Friday morning.

This year there are 22 players from NSW and the ACT. The strong NSW contenders include Cathleen Santoso and Chantal Hodson. Of the interstate and international contingent it is very hard to look past Australian Amateur Runner-Up Min Jee Lee (WA) and defending champion and Srixon International Champion Annie Choi (Korea).
