Day 1
The 2XU Champions Trophy has started on a high with a lot of great golf being played on the first day of competition.
Mischa Aksenoff from Highlands GC leads the Boys Championship after finishing 2 under par after the first round. Celina Yuan from Bankstown GC leads the Girls Championship field, with golfing rival Shelly Shin not far behind.
In the Boys 13 years and under, up and comer Blake Windred from Charlestown GC has a 6 shot lead over Joseph Trinder going into the the second day of competition but in the Girls 15 years and over, the golf is close with Layne Flannery from Belmont GC and Lisa-Marie Jorgensen from Bankstown GC sharing the lead on 7 over.
