Riley Millers (Avondale GC) has claimed his maiden JNJG Masters title with a hard fought one shot victory in the 2021 Brett Ogle Junior Masters. Tight at the Top at Goulburn

(8:00pm - Saturday 20th November 2021)

It is clear that the Covid-19 break hasn’t slowed our juniors down with some very impressive scores coming out of Day 1 at the 2021 Brett Ogle Junior Masters. Oscar Woolridge (Catalina GC) was the standout performer with a four under par opening round, consisting of an eagle and two birdies in his opening four holes. He will take his first overnight lead at a junior masters event with some quality competition hot on his tail with Riley Millers (Avondale GC), Lochie Semmler (Thurgoona GC) and Zain Kadir (Campbelltown GC) all two behind at two under par.

The Girls Division is also close, with the top three players separated by just one shot heading into the final round. Sienna Clarke (St Michaels GC) fired a three under round of 69 and is one shot clear of Ella Scaysbrook (The Australian GC) and Charlotte Perkins (The Australian GC) who will be looking to add to their masters’ titles. No matter the result, Ella will never forget this event as she accomplished what many golfers can only dream to achieve, a hole in one on the Par 3 15th hole.

Sebastian French (Queanbeyan GC) leads the Boys 11 years and under division with a great score of six over par with Joey Eason (Bingara Gorge GC) and Nathan Hong (Macquarie Links GC) close behind. A special mention to Philip Madsen (Manly GC) with a nett 63 in his first JNJG tournament.
