Cabramatta – Bankstown Junior Classic – Sponsored by “Bellissomo’s by the Green”
The first two days of the school holidays were absolutely perfect for golf. Cabramatta Golf Club was in great condition on Monday as 37 junior golfers took to the course for the first round of this 36 hole event. Bankstown Golf Club was just as good for the second round on Tuesday. The stableford format was used to give everyone an equal chance of winning. The nine hole Tyro Course was set up for ten players who are yet to get a handicap. Cabramatta must have been playing tough as there was only one player with more than 36 points. At Bankstown, there were several scores better than 36, with young Ejun Choi having a very good 43 points.
All the players and parents & supporters had a great time and expressed their appreciation to both Clubs for their hospitality and for the great condition of the two courses. A special mention to the event sponsors, Bellissimo’s by the Green at Cabramatta for the great pizzas.
