SWSAS Athlete Wins Titleist/Footjoy Scholarship

Highlands and Antill Park junior and South West Sydney Academy of Sport golfer Tim Ryan has been announced as the worthy recipient of this years Titleist/Footjoy Scholarship.  The 8-handicapper was one of about 30 nominations received by JNJG for this prestigious award.  To be eligible for the scholarship juniors must a member of JNJG and have also participated in a 2014/15 Regional Academy of Sport Program.

Tim has been selected as this years winner due to his dedication to the South West Sydney Academy of Sport Program and Jack Newton Junior Golf.  By winning this scholarship it is hoped that this Year 9 student will be able further development his game and move to the next level.  

Thanks to the generosity of Titleist/Footjoy Tim will receive a fully custom fit set of Titleist golf clubs as well other merchandise including balls, gloves, hats and shoes.

"It's a great honor to be given such an offer. It is an amazing feeling to be recognized by JNJG and and a brand like Titleist/ Footjoy," Tim said.

"I'm really excited to use the equipment and can't wait to experience better results. I'd like to thank Titleist/ Footjoy, JNJG and the South West Sydney Academy of Sport for giving me this opportunity and I believe it will help to develop my golf game further in the future," said Tim.
