JNJG Master of the Masters

The JNJG Master of the Masters is designed to find the best performed boy and girl in all JNJG Junior Masters Series Events in 2013.

To be eligible to win this award, a player must compete in a minimum of 5 Masters Series Events.

If a player competes in more than 5 events (ie - 10 rounds), only their best 10 scores will be counted.

*Due to the cancellation of the Muswellbrook JM, bringing the total number of Junior Masters Events in 2013 down to 7, the minimum number of Masters Series Events a player must play in to win the award is 4. For players who have played in more than 4 events (8 rounds), only their best 8 scores will be counted.

Calculation of Scoring Average

Girls

All Scores are calculated to an average par of 72.
Scores returned on a course with an Australian Womens Course Rating of less than 72 will be increased by the number of strokes by which the rating is below 72.
Scores returned on a course with an Australian Womens Course Rating of more than 72 will be decreased by the number of strokes by which the rating is above 72.

(Example - Sarah plays the Penrith Open and shoots a scratch score of 79. The Australian Womens Course Rating (AWCR) is 75. As the AWCR is above 72 by 3 shots, Sarah's score is decreased by 3 shots. Sarah's adjusted score is 76).

Boys

All Scores are calculated to an average par of 70.
Scores returned on a course with an Australian Course Rating of less than 70 will be increased by the number of strokes by which the rating is below 70.
Scores returned on a course with an Australian Course Rating of more than 70 will be decreased by the number of strokes by which the rating is above 70.

(Example - Rory plays the Penrith Open and shoots a scratch score of 75. The Australian Course Rating (ACR) is 72. As the AWCR is above 70 by 2 shots, Sarah's score is decreased by 2 shots. Rory's adjusted score is 73).
