Metropolitan South and Southern Highlands
The Territory
The Metropolitan South and Southern Highlands runs from the south eastern Sydney suburbs down to the inland areas of the Southern Highlands. The coastal areas of this territory are in stark contrast to the rolling hills of the highlands. It is a unique territory made up of city and urban courses as well as small country courses. The Illawarra Academy of Sport is also located in the Metropolitan South and Illawarra Territory.
The Manager
Tanya has played golf for around 20 years and went through the junior ranks in QLD before moving to NSW in 2001 where she played grade for The Lakes Golf Club. In 2003 Tanya went overseas and played the major Amateur events in the UK and Europe and then in 2005 she joined the ALPG. Tanya is a member at Eastlake Golf Club where she worked for several years and conducted a number of junior clinics. She thoroughly enjoyed seeing all the kids getting enjoyment out of the sport she loves so much. Tanya has been on the Board of Directors at Eastlake Golf Club for two years and has just recently become the Club Captain where her main aim is to increase the number of junior golfers. She firmly believes there is no better site then seeing kids out there enjoying themselves. Tanya is very excited about my new role as a Territory Manager as she is passionate about giving all kids a chance to see what the game of golf is all about.
